The Recreation and Community Services Department provides opportunities for wholesome, year-round public recreational service for every age group in the City of Ontario. Through a comprehensive array of programs and events, the department continually strives to meet the City Council's goal to provide enhanced recreational, educational and cultural activities to the community.

The Recreation and Community Services Department employs a staff of 21 full-time and 150 part-time employees providing services at community centers, parks and schools throughout the City of Ontario.
