DEPARTMENT OF ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE CONTROL

GRANT ASSISANCE PROGRAM

 

 

 

The Ontario Police Department has been awarded a state grant by the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control's Grant Assistance Program.

The grant is designed to help local agencies limit the availability of alcohol to minors, to reduce alcohol-related crimes and disturbances, and to assist with getting local establishments to comply with alcohol laws. During the grant period, the police department and the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control will work together to identify and target problem establishments with liquor licenses and will develop strategies to enforce the law. The programs developed will encompass an array of education and enforcement strategies that will improve the quality of life in the community. The Department of Alcohol Beverage Control will take administrative actions against those establishments we find violating the law.
